We aim to make every client feel beautiful in their own shape, way, & form. JSlaysUnits was brought into fruition by Joyce Makanda also known as JSlays. She started this journey in 2016 when she created her first-ever U-Part unit. After multiple attempts of constructing units, Joyce then created a Faux Locs unit which led her to begin loc braiding. On April 25th, 2019. Joyce brought her talent to light and created a brand. As of August 2023 Joyce is now a certified cranial prosthesis specialist. Joyce has shown so much growth over the past seven years with her outstanding dedication, growth, and skill.
